pinhole

Took this picture with my DianaF+ set on pinhole and instead of using a
120mm film i used film paper. Developed it at school in the dark room, its so much easier then i thought, but then again i just developed something very basic. Though the pinhole waiting time is a lot longer then using a 400 iso film.

Death + Taxes

I was a long lost partner to Stephan. We decided to do some doubles together, as time passes I never heard back from him. I thought he had forgotten my roll, until 2 days ago I was browsing on lomo and was checking out the winners of Death & Taxes competition, there was a photo that looked very familiar, something I've seen already its like I've been there. As I looked at the winners name it was Mephisto (Stephan) I asked myself when did he come to Antwerp? So I mailed him and asked if that was our roll he submitted and he said yes. He was happy he found his double partner. So now, how do you split a Diana F+ Black Jack Edition in two?

Its been a while. I was on holiday and now I'm back. Didn't take as many pictures as I wanted but thought I'd share the great faces I saw on Bringhardjo Market in Jogya.

I miss NY already. This city is seriously AWESOME and yes it never sleeps!!!! I wasn't going to develop my film rolls in antwerp because its expensive here but I couldnt wait. So I decided to only develop my 120s since I can only scan 35mm back home in JKT. This is a sneak peak, took the photos with the DianaF+

Rommel Paradijs

Like i said I am a junk freak. I’m a flea market rat, and I’ve been to plenty flea markets but not one of them amazes me as the one located 150 meters from my house, the place is called “Rommel Paradijs’ meaning Junk Paradise. It’s a big warehouse like building filled with antique goods such as; chairs, beer crates, religious statues, tables, wooden statues, lamps, mirrors, frames, vintage billiard sticks, vintage toys, chandeliers, tropical hats, fur jackets, vintage gold sticks, porcelain statues, vintage radios, paintings, sombrero’s, copper cooking pots, camera’s, porcelain plates, vintage helmets, vintage boxing gloves, dolls, mannequins, tea pots, tea glasses, vintage typing machine, books, vintage tin cookie cans, candle holders, vinyl’s, boom box, chairs, champagne glasses, fishing gear, chessboard, clocks, vintage record player, Asian swords the list can go on – you name it they’ll have it! There are two people working in Rommel Paradijs the proud owner Patrick Janssens that always greats me with a warm smile and his assistant.

We are cheesy tourists

I just got back from NY on Thursday. NY is AWESOME! now I understand why they make the 'I Love NY' shirts!! Nothing beats this city, there is SO MUCH to see. anyways my boyfriend had this idea to take the polaroid with us and take cheesy photos in front of the most touristic attractions. The first polaroid is with the famous Naked Cowboy!!! yes he does exist!!! and he kept on saying 'dont forget to put a dollar in the guitar' with an accent..

My dad gave me his OlympusOM1 camera about a year ago, I just tried this camera a month ago (shame on me) i really like this camera. Everything has to be set manually. I took it to NY with me haven't developed the rolls yet, i cant afford it right now there's too many of them. I cant wait to get the OlympusOM2 from my dad, he has a great set of lenses that come with it. He bought the 2 camera's about 15-20 years ago, last year summer we went to the store to check it out and the seller still remembered him from back then, he even remembered which camera he bought!!!

mbah hardjo

this is my grandmother from Indonesia. she is 72.
i think this is a great photo, just because of its super kitschy
background. This is a typical Indonesian photo studio background in the 80s-90s.
I kind of miss it, since everything is digitally edited now
